What if I don't know much about my family?
That's fine — most people don't! All we need is your name and at least one parent's name to get started. The more you can tell us (dates, places, grandparents), the further back we can go and the more accurate the results will be.
How accurate is AI research?
Our AI searches the same historical records that professional genealogists use — census returns, birth/marriage/death indexes, parish registers, military records. Every match is cross-referenced against multiple sources and given a confidence score. A qualified genealogist reviews every tree before we send it to you.
What records do you search?
We primarily search FamilySearch.org's database of over 10 billion historical records, including UK census records (1841–1921), civil registration indexes, parish registers, military service records, immigration records, and more. We also cross-reference with FreeBMD and other public databases.
What if you can't find much?
If our research doesn't turn up at least 3 generations of ancestors, we'll let you know and offer a full refund. Some families are harder to trace than others — common surnames in large cities, for example, or families from regions with poor record survival. We'll always be upfront about what we can and can't find.
Can I continue the research myself?
Absolutely. Your report includes a GEDCOM file that you can import directly into FamilySearch, Ancestry, MyHeritage, or any other family tree software. We also include source citations so you can look up the original records yourself. Many customers use our report as the starting point for their own deeper research.

Do you cover non-UK families?
We currently specialise in English, Welsh, and Scottish ancestry as that's where our data coverage is strongest. Many families have branches that extend into Ireland, Europe, or further afield — we'll follow the trail wherever the records take us, but coverage varies by country and time period.
